I was very happy to revisit one of my favourite Altenew stamp sets for this card, the Peony Bouquet . It may well be the first stamp set I ever bought from them. I tried to keep it simple with a basic background style. I masked the flowers to blend the background with a soft green then stamped two layers of the leaves over that.
Using A2 layering dies I cut the black mat to make a thin frame on the panel. Using double sided tape I attached the matted panel to the front of a side fold A2 card base.
The thanks die and shadow are from the Altenew Seasonal Blooms set. I love how the black shadow on the thanks and the black mat help the vibrant colours to stand out.
