Lesson 3 for the Level 1 AECP is all about celebrating stencils and all the fun you can have with them! I used the Altenew Watercolor Stripes cover die to make these two for one cards.

Using an A2 panel of 80 lb Neenah with the die I ink blended over it with Altenew Paper Bag ink to colour the die itself and used it as a stencil for a second panel. The flowers are from my favourite Peony Bouquet stamp and die set. I made a bunch of them while doing my projects for the Layering 2 class.

Altenew inks used:
Card 1 – Vanilla Cream, Hazelnut, Almond Butter, Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow for the flowers. The leaves and sentiment are Firefly, Grass Field and Orange Cream.
Card 2 – Rouge, Crimson, Velvet and Sea Breeze, Turquoise, Tide Blue for the flowers. The leaves and sentiment are Frayed Leaf, Forest Glade and Starlight.

I couldn’t resist some gold splatter to just add a little extra shine and elevate the feel of these cards.

Wonderful cards, Kim!! Thank you for submitting your beautiful work to the AECP assignment gallery.
