For the Clean & Simple Boutique cards class I chose to use the colour gold for a classic glamour vibe.
Using a limited colour palette and a single focal image simplifies and gives the card a look that pops. This A2 card is made with the Altenew Watercolour Stripes cover die. I cut out a panel of gold shimmer paper and ink blended over it with Altenew Paper Bag ink. The ink colour softened the colour and gave it more of a bronze sheen.
After making lots of blooms with my Altenew Peony Bouquet set it seemed fitting to add another one here. Using all the shades of the Martian Terrain set for this bloom gave it a soft but rich look with the bronzy gold background. The sentiment is from the Altenew Ornamental Bliss stamp set and stamped in Enchanted Gold ink and heat embossed with clear powder .
I finished up this card with some Studio Katia, Gold Fever confetti for that little extra pop of shine and sparkle.

Ah, it’s a subtle change but I see that the change in the cover die cardstock added quite a bit of elegance to the card! Well done! Thank you for submitting your pretty work to the AECP assignment gallery.

Thank you Erum. I was trying to show how many looks you can get using the same supplies but with very different end results.
