You’ll find this cute little A2 card on the Your Next Stamp blog here. I made this card using the Sprinkles Coffee and Tea Stamp set CYNS178 and the Coffee Sentiments set CYNS853. I stamped the coffee ring with several shade of mocha inks from Simon Says Stamp for the background panel on 100lb Hammermill cardstock. The image was coloured with Ohuhu alcohol markers, fussy cut and given dimension with some YNS pop dots. I trimmed the front panel slightly to 4” x 5 1/4” and added a mocha coloured mat one 1/16” bigger behind to tie the theme all together.
The technique of using a small image as a repeated design to create a custom background is so very versatile! I love it because it can be done with any simple image you may that coordinates with your main focal image. This works really well when using a small single image like our coffee cutie here.
