Each month we challenge ourselves by choosing our own product/technique to feature across all 3 cards. I chose to feature CAS ink blending and one stamp set this month for our theme of Gratitude or Thanksgiving. As we are past thanksgiving here in Canada I chose to go with Gratitude.
I used the STAMPtember 2024 collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Alex Syberia Designs called Close at Heart. I really felt the sentiments and lovely floral design reflected my theme of Gratitude. I also choose to change each design just a smidgen.
A cool tone rainbow matted on a Fog card base, one basic layer and very CAS (clean and simple). I used Lilac, Marine and Tidepool inks all from the Pawsitively Saturated Ink line at Simon Says Stamp
Stepped up to an Ombre ink blend and matted on a thin black mat to made the colours pop. I used 3 shades in watery aqua colours that blend so beautifully! Tidepool, Tropic & Aegean are a gorgeous set of colours and the ombre is so serene on this card.
The final card is a warm rainbow blend in the colours Butter, Clay and Punch. I then did a partial die cut technique. I trimmed it down a bit so that it had some breathing room, then added some foam adhesive to pop it up on the A2 Cream coloured card base. I love the soft elegant feel of this one.
