For the top 2 cards I used some of the oldest paper I have in my stash. Probably 25 years old. A pack of handmade paper that I’m not even sure where it came from anymore. The bottom two use a layering Stencil from Altenew
I’ll link to the video here (CAS Cards? Yes Please!) that shows the technique for the top left and bottom right cards.
I love stencils and 6×6 paper pads but found that I always ended up with a piece that did get used or just sat in my scrap bucket for ages. This technique creates great cards and little to no waste!
The top left card uses a Congrats sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Wild & Free stamp set. Which I heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The top right card is stamped with Gold Pigment Ink from Altenew for a luminous shimmer and the sentiment panels are cut with Gina K Desings Master Layouts 1. Both cards are embellished with tiny gold pearls for a touch of glam.
The bottom two cards are made with the Layered Dahlia Stencil Set from Altenew I also used their inks in shades of pink to give an elegant monochromatic look. The bottom left card is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel matted on black that is a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ The sentiment die set is from Simon Says Stamp and is called Extra Large Congrats. I coloured the sentiment cardstock with metallic ink from Hero Arts and matted with Black to tie in the black layer.
The bottom right card uses the left over strip and that is enhances with some easy scoring lines. The sentiment is from The Ton stamps and is from their Ribbons layering stamp set called General. Both these cards are sprinted with some lovely iridescent gems from my bling stash.
