The theme for the Monthly Video Hop, March edition, is New Beginnings! My idea for this month is to take an older small stamp set and give it a new beginning!
For the first card I wanted to show how adding some frames and layers can bring a small image into the main focus of a card. Keeping the colour palette linked though the layers gives it a continuity and makes the image pop!
The second card was a spur of the moment idea, which you can see me think of in the video, and I made it after I stopped filming. I did insert it at the end with a verbal walk through of how I made it.
For this I added acetate behind the blue frame and then popped it up with foam tape. The shaker bits are some fun spring flowers from my stash mixed with regular shiny confetti!
