More fun with Fun Folds

This month I received the **Wavy 6×6 Background Stamp and a fun fold was the first design I thought of when I saw it! So I of course made two Double Z-fold cards! This one in shades of blue with holographic touches!

For this one I used Soft Navy for the card base and stamped white cardstock with 3 shades of Pawsitively Saturated blue inks – Marine, Cadette and Royal. I did a soft wash of the lightest ink over the top to remove the stark white and give it a more monochromatic feel.

I made the shadow layer with the sparkle holographic paper and double stacked white and blue for the top layer to give depth and definition of colours with the Simon Says Stamp – You did it! die set.

I stamped the design on two pieces of 6.5″ x 6.5″ white Hammermill cardstock. I knew for this design one sheet wouldn’t be enough to cover all 3 panels. If you want to leave one panel bare or use a contrasting design you would have enough with one panel.

The new release is great and I had a lot of fun with this stamp set! Two more cards coming soon using it!
