The Embossing Folders are always inspiring. I love that these are a larger size, 8 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ and will emboss a full half sheet of cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″). The 2 cards I made featuring those similar and yet so different! Both are using a paper piecing base layer but the end results are very individual.
The first card uses the Holiday Check 3D embossing folder and shakes of green and teal. The birds are from the Frosty Tweet Friends Small Die of the Month and the sentiment is from the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month called Crated With Cheer
The second card uses the Festive Stripes Embossing Folder with strips of pastel cardstock attached to a thin piece of paper and then embossed. I measured the pattern to get the size pretty close so each colour had a pattern on it. The fab tree on top is from the Large Die of the Month and is called Lit With Joy. This is so nostalgic for me as we had one of these ceramic trees in our house every Christmas while I was growing up. I think my sister has it now!
And for both the Small and Large die of the month I also made a couple of other cards!
Card one is done with all Spellbinders Colorwheel Cardstocks and the fab foil background is made with the Press and Foil Plate of the month called Sparkling Bright as is the sentiment on the tree.
Card two is made with the Frosty Tweet Friends and I just used the Snowman as the focus. The fun background is made with the Wrapped in Wonder Stencil of the Month.
Up next is more cards with Wrapped with Wonder and Frosty Tweet Friends. I love the fact that this stencil set has 5 layers that are really versatile as you can make just the plaid or use just the snowflake layer.

There is a Show & Tell Video this month where I walk you through the products and cards and how I used them! click HERE
